A bridge crossing Temenggor Lake to Banding Island. Temenggor lake, one of the biggest man made lake in Malaysia built for hydro power. It is also a gateway to Belum forest reserve, rainforest dated back to million years ago. A haven to nature lovers. Can't comment more. Just passing thru.

Sri Tujuh Beach 25 km away from Kota Bharu. Nearest towns are Tumpat and Pengkalan Kubur. There was not a soul when We reached this popular beach. Forlorn and deserted. The monsoon season effectively driven away beach goers. The rain showed no sign to let up so we left without even venturing out of the car.

Mee Chambo for lunch any one ? Stumbled upon this food stall not far from the border town of Pengkalan Kubor. The special item in the menu was Chambo noodle or mee chambo. Have no idea what it was.
