We lived in Virginia for four years, 2000 through the end of 2003. All of our kids were born here. We really enjoyed our life in this city. It's 90 minutes from the beach, 90 minutes from Washington DC and 90 minutes from the mountains. The only thing missing was our extended family. They were 8 hrs away. We have never taken the kids back here and it was nice to show them our old hangout. We drove by our old house, playgrounds, the daycare, our church,and the hospital they were born in. We also drove around downtown and showed them the highlights of the city. Next stop Norfolk.
