We spent 4th of July in Acadia and Bar Harbor. We went back into Acadia and the park was empty compared to the day before. We went by the precipice trail. We went on a sunset sea kayaking excursion on 4th of July. It was amazing! My favorite activity of the trip! We met at the shop in Bar Harbor then they drove us to the west side of the island. The tour was an ecological tour looking for wildlife. We saw several porpoise. Along the way seals would poke their heads up out of the water to see what we were doing. We spent the day in Acadia National Park. It was absolutely beautiful! Our first stop was the visitors center. We picked up a map and made our plans. There was a bus system that would drive us around the park, but the lines for it were very long. The park was very crowded that day. We decided using our van would be the best course of action. LL Bean! We spent the day shopping at all the LLBean stores. There was the factory store, the bike & sports store, the home store and the outlet. We took small break for some Ben and Jerry's. We had a great time exploring all things LL Bean.
