We went to Fort Story in Virginia Beach to see the first lighthouse built in America. We had to get through security to get on the base 1st. They searched our car & made us get out. We were only allowed to go to this one spot.

The lighthouse was neat. Very old, but in good condition. There is a newer lighthouse right next to it that is currently in service.
