Delhi has been better than expected, had grave warnings about lots of touts, dirt and beggars but yes its busy and manic on the streets but you dont really get much grief. Just get a lot of people trying to drag you into shops for a hard sell - do they really think I want to cart endless massive carpets around the world in my backpack particulary those who "dont offer postal service"!
Went on a long day tour yesterday around plenty of Temples, Tombs, Ghandi's monument garden and the Red Fort, there most famous sight. All were well worth seeing but like coach trips tend to be a bit rushed, but you can always make the effort and go back to places if you want. Got back and had a drink (non alcoholic mainly here) with an Israeli businessman and promised to buy him a drink if his country helped out England. Indeed they did, so better take extra rupees out tonight!
Quiet day today, just around the city and to some gardens to chill out before updating this site, sending emails before yet another curry. Didnt think I could ever get bored of currys but with 11 days left in India think I will be soon!
