Hope your ears are better now. Sounds like you are having a good time. Except for the russian! You can't please all the people all the time.
I am intrigued to know about crisps and ants look forwards to hearing all about it.
It is a glorious day here in sunny Bexhill. Looking forwards to walking home with George today.
We had an excellent half term. I covered one week and Graham the other.
They only went back to school on Monday and the NUT decided on Thursday they were going on strike for the first time in 21 years. Rather inconvenient but he had fun with my dad yesterday. Much Lego building and I think, by all accounts he had more fun than George building.
I have been working 730 til 530 with a half hour lunch for the last two weeks.
Yippee on Monday it will be back to normal time! bet you are looking forwards to going back to work NOT
Well I had better love you and leave you til next Friday
Love from Caroline X

Hi Simon,
Hope you are well and nopt experiencing any more mobile phone problems !! I have sent you a few texts but I am never quite sure if the y get through to you or not. Not sure where you are at the moment, but I am here in chilly Bromley(we had a blizzard and 3 inches of snow all last Sunday morning !!!!) nearing the end of my first week of 'Easter holidays', and yesterday I went to the first day of the new season, MCC v Sussex(Nash, Hopkinson, Yardy, Adams, Prior, Wright, RMJ, Harris, Aga, Beer and Lewry). Sx won the toss and made a rather insipid 171 ao(Nash 33), in reply MCC were 121- 4 at the close, with Owais Shah 72no. The new right-armer from Australia, Ryan Harris took 3 wickets and ran out the 4th, but I left about 5 as it was freezing !! May go again Sunday but the weather fc is awful and I dont think there will be any play left.Other than that, Craig and I are going down to the Rosebowl for days 2 and 3 next week of the first championship game, Hampshire minus Warne and Mascarenhas. The first first possible visit to Hove this year is likely to be Sat 26th April v Kent, if there is enough play left on day 4.
As for Palace, I expect you know by now that they had a stirring 2-1 away win at Stoke last Monday evening and lie 6th by a point from Ipswich ahead of the home game against Scunthorpe. However. Wolves are 2 behind and have 2 games in hand. Who knows, by the time you come back, they may be in the play-offs themselves !! It looks Speroni and Morrisson will sign new contracts but it seems Hudson is going to walk and is already being courted apparently by WBA and Stoke !!
Well I dont have a lot else to say before I slide back in front of ESPN Sport !!!, except to say, look after yourself and I hope to see you on Sun 4th May for the Burnley game(When they are doing one of those reunion things for the 1979 team v Burnley !!)
See you,
Graham

Hi Simon
Glad you are having a good time. Hope you are not eating too many scooby snacks. You will have to do some more exercise or you will get love handles! Ha Ha.
It has been very warm for the last couple of days even T-Shirt weather.Sods law though I just found out on Monday it is going to snow and be minus 1 and I have the week off work. I am taking George to Brighton on the train.
They have let me loose in the test department and the other day I was testing some boards from the mains. You have to check all the components are the right way round and for the first 10 out of 20 I did then I could not be bothered to check the next one. More fool me.Ther ws a huge great bang and stuff flew everywhere.
My colleagues came to see if I was allright. I just laughed. Taught me a lesson though.
Will catch up in two weeks as no loitering to do next Friday.
Take care Love Caroline

Hi Simon,
Wow it looks like you have been very brave recently! Bet after all that adrenalin build up you wanted another go. George won a Creme egg for his bonnet and after that success he entered it into an Easter bonnet competition at Ironbridge in Telford, Shropshire and won 6 Creme eggs!
The chance came up for Graham to meet up with his chums from uni who have not got together since our wedding almost ten years ago. It was great fun and snowed really hard, but did not lay.
At the moment it is persistantly raining. Oh well, will have to loiter a bit longer in the library. Will catch up soon. Can you e-mail me your new telephone number? Then I will call you up. Thanks, all the best love Caroline

Hi Simon
Thank you very much first of all for the programme from New Zealand. Always very glad to get any kind of cricket memorabilia. Have sent you a number of text messages recently on the New Zealand number but didn't realise until today that I had put 00 at the front by mistake. Karen and I are at your Mum and Dad's today and have just had a smashing lunch at Ifield GC. Weather this weekend has been very wintery. Richard and Pete went to the match at Sheff Wed yesterday but couldn't see the 90th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw by Matt Lawrence because it was at the other end and he had the temerity to score in a blizzard!!! Glad you've had a smashing time and have been following most of the NZ tests into the small hours and have, no doubt, seen you without knowing it as I didn't realise you have been resplendent in a circa 1992 Palace shirt. You may not be aware that next year the home kit has reverted to the red and blue diagonal sash on the white shirt. Looking forward to seeing you soon, as Richard said, in time for the play offs!!!! Take care for now, Graham & Karen x

Hi Si
I'm looking at your sun-drenched photos with envy in my office this morning! Snow is forecast over Easter too.
Glad you're still having a great time mate, you'll never want to come home...
Rob E
Blimey Mr H, bungees, sky diving...whatever next? Is this really the same man who once swore in terror on the rollercoasters in Blackpool? Glad to see you're having fun!
David
I see you got to do the sky dive at last! The instructor's not silly, he put you on his front so you'd hit the ground first!
Keep enjoying,
Mr Na

Hi Simon
Looks like you are having a good time. Did you fancy having a go at sheep shearing? I liked the photo of you on the luge not that it looks like you are terrified of heights or anything! You were very brave going on that bungee thing. It was probably a good thing that you did not watch to see what happened first, it might have put you off. George has his Easter Fayre today. They had a competition to make an Easter bonnet. It's a good thing he's only six and not thinking about his street cred yet. oops my phone just went off and I am in the library. It is shut next Friday so will come and leave your next message in two weeks. Until then, take care. Love Caroline x

Hi Simon
Looking at those pictures of tanned guys in football t-shirts, I remembered when the two of us went to see CP play Villa at Selhurst park... (The month before the Eagles played the FA Cup Final!!!)
You must have heard Anderlecht's result vs Bayern Munich (HORRIBLE, but what can you do? booooh) I'm NOT looking forward to the away game next week... Still we're slowly getting back to where we should be in the Belgian Championship.
When are you planning to come back to dear old England? Maybe we could catch up early May?
Have a safe trip!
Carmen

Morning Si,
Good to see all is well with you. Don't worry about what you're doing when you get back here - you'll have got the bug & will just start saving to do some more travelling!
80mph winds and driving rain here this morning. God you'd love it!
Take care & love from C & the bump (which is getting worryingly large and active!)
Rob
Caroline
