This is the easiest way I have to show my photo's. I have been workin on my pergola for the last 3 months and it is finally finished.

Today I went 4 wheel driving with a few of the guys from work. We went to Mundaring and did the power line track. It is fairly easy with chicken tracks around all the ************s. I went in a car with Dave cos he has never been off road before. He did well for a newby and went everywhere the experienced guys went. At the lunch spot we found some water for the boys to play and inevitably a few got stuck.

What a trip it has been. 4 countries 5 timezones 6 currencies 9 languages 2 earthquakes 1 coup I had 2 huge nights, one when I crossed a border and one because I didnt cross the border. I lived in the red light district, behind a brothel and twice lived IN a brothel. I even knocked back the chance to live in another one cos it was even too grubby for me. The best hostel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world was in Xian and the worst ever were both in Kyrgys...

Well Im on the way home. I was packing it at Tashkent airport. You are supposed to have OVIR registrations for everynight in Uzbekistan and I was missing 2. One for the night on the train and one for the night in the yurt. I had receipts for both so I thought that would be OK. You are also supposed to have money change receipts for the money you change. I changed ALL my money on the black market cos the rate was soo much better. Between 2400 and 2000 on the black...

I loved Uzbekistan, I hated the taxi drivers. The big 4 dont disapoint. Samarkand just blew me away, the Registan and Shah-I-Zinda were amazing. I also loved Khiva. Most people rate Bukhara before Khiva but for me I dont. I dont really know why, probably because Bukhara was so overt and in your face.
