We had a late start today. After being up at 2.30 this morning doing my blog it was good. We had breakfast just down the road from my hotel. That is the third meal I have had here. The dirt roads here are soooo rough. Fitretu picked me up at 6 to go to the bus station. The station is the same as any bus station, full of pick pockets and dodge people, all trying it on with some scam. Only thing this one is in Africa so it is supersize. I spent the whole day going to the embassy and bus stations and got no where. It is too hard to get Egyptian visa and that and Sudan would take at least a week, so Im not going to Sudan. The busses to the south go from 3 different stations (one of them is new). I ot to 2 of them and no luck. So I have hired a guide. Well I finally made it here. The first flight was pretty good, the only thing that happened was some woman ended up on the floor with and oxygen mask on. It is time for a new trip. This time I fly out at 10.20pm on Sat 29/7 and arrive home at 12.50am Sun 22/10. I will be starting in Ethiopia and try to get through Sudan to Egypt and fly to Morocco then a few days in Abu Dhabbi on the way home.
