There is not much here but it is close the the best Mayan ruin in these parts, Chichen Itza. I will show you that tomorrow.
This morning I started early to walk to the bus station. I walked most of the way yesterday so it can't be too far. Well carrying my pack at 6 this morning I was sweating like a pig. By the time I got to the bus station I was soaking wet. It turns out I was only about half way yesterday. I finally made it with 10minto spare for the 8.01 bus. The drive here was nothing special but I am here and in a nice hotel. I couldn't find the hotel I was looking for but I bartered this one down to $25 per night so I am happy with that. At least I have a front door lock here.
I have been out for a quick look around and Valldaloid is a small town and looks like I expected a Mexican town to look. Old buildings, narrow streets and big churches. I will go out again later and get a few more pics for you.
This arvo I walked up to a Cenote (cen- oh- Tay) that is in town. It is not the greatest but it is close, I might be able to show you a better one later.
I am starting to get my self sorted and get back into the rhythm of back packing, it usually takes some time.
From something I saw on tv last night I think we got some storms heading in here in the next couple days
