Im back on the net and have I got heaps to tell you.
The last week or so I have been in Xinjiang in far western China on my way to the Silk road. There were riots in Urumqi (I bet you all say that wrong) last year and since then the government has had the internet blocked to the whole province. They can only get one local site. China are the biggest internet users in the world but it is hopeless trying to get on. If you do the pop ups cum up in Chinese.
