CHANGE OF PLANS
My plan was to head to Naryn and Kochkor. The reason for this was to head up to the Jailoos from there but thats not gonna happen. Because I booked my flights back in August I new it was a risk but I was hopeing for global warming and an early summer. Instead it is the opposite. They are having a last blast of winter, it dropped 8ft of snow on the Irkeshtam the other day. The jailoos are not open and probably wont be for another month at least and the summer bus shedules havnt kicked in yet.. If I keep going I have to go via Kazarman and there is only 2 buses/ week so I would be stuck there for 3 days.
Im heading for Bishkek and look at my options from there. I can head back from Bishkek easier than to keep going from here. I dont want to leave Kyrgystan just yet. It is everything I came here for. The fresh air and mountain scenery and a bonus it is soo cheap. Im booked on a flight to Bishkek tomorrow and I will probably stay at the Radison in Bishkek.
Here in Jalal-abad Im staying at the best hotel in town... the only hotel in town. My room is a single, usually it is a double and I pay 2/3 rate, and I have a balcony. The hotel also has a casino and a disco. ohhhh also my room has a huge skid mark in the dunny, the shower is full of hair and it looks like blood on the floor. These old soviet hotels have a floor lady, Svetlana. She is supposed to be the cleaner but by the lookof this place see hasnt done much lately. Anyway when I booked in I asked if they had HOT water. The old chook at the front desk said "ya ya". Now I know I should have checked but surely she knew I was gonna turn on the tap at some stage. Sure enough I turned on the tap and it trickled COLD water. I got Svetlana and complained. She dont speak english. I went to see the old chook down stairs, all of a sudden she also dont speak english. She just shrugged. You recon that didnt **** me off. After that I did everything i could to make a mess the place up. Everytime I went out I made sure I gotmud on my shoes and stamped themin the foyer them shrugged. That will teach the *****es. I realised afterwards why there were 5 coke bottles of water in the shower....that is how you shower...pour them over yourself. Silly me!!!
Ill try to get some pics of the place here to put up tomorrow.
My last day here and Im bored so I got some pics and decided I am in the third biggest city in Kyrgystan so I will go to the airport early and watch the planes come and go and maybe have a look around. HaHaHa. Check the pics

chris that hotel sounds 5 star to me, reverse kanga the toilet just to add to there collection, sounds like the best holiday :)stay safe.chris+kate.

Ngaere Sounds like a great place to visit when the weather is better. Your return will be so easy. I look forward to seeing the photos. Great to hear from you again.I am doing much better, drugs kicking in and I am taking it very slowly - no other choice with everyone telling me to slow down.
