Im actually writing this on day 4 cos we are going to Waterbom tomorrow and what is there to say about that.
I wanted to finish this in Owens words so I asked him a few questions.
Best thing... the country when we toured in the hills the other day.
Worst thing...The staff waking us up at 5am by starting their bikes right near our room.
Shopping...Was what he expected but didnt like the constant hastle of "you buy"
Most unexpected...selling petrol in plastic bottles.
Beer....Drinkable
Traffic....Gotta know how to use a horn
Hotel.... no comment...(the place is terrible)
Beach...nice
Weather.... OK (it has been quite mild)
The pavements need to be improved, they are hard to negotiate with all the ups and downs. Traffic takes some getting used to. Everyone is trying to scam you.

My opinion of Bali has not changed. I still think the "Kuta" area is my least favourite place I have ever been to.If i was ever to come back I would head to the north , then come to the east coast and go to the Gilli Islands.
Leave "Bali" to the kids.
