After a few days in Gili Trawangan, we are back in Bali in Ubud, at a lovely place with lush gardens and a pool (yet to be explored). This is the view from our terrace where we are relaxing after having our breakfast brought to us. Indonesian tourist breakfast seems to consist of eggs or pancakes and fruit. Coffee has been somewhat disappointing so far given they grow it here. Might be time to try out that pool... LZ

Typical irony Didn't have an upset stomach the whole trip in India. Started this morning in Alleppey, the farming town in the Keralan backwaters, in a homestay on a hard local bed, in the heat and humidity with the fan whirring away loudly powered by the generator as there was a morning power cut.
