Photo from this morning as Dann and I were leaving the lovely Bedulu in Bali to head by high speed boat to Gili Trawangan. Beautiful place with an amazing infinity pool. Fun place to spend our first three days together.
Key learning from this morning - fastest does not necessarily mean best. We got shaken to pieces on the boat.
We didn't see that much of Bali apart from on our drive from the airport, in the south, up to Amed, on the north eastern coast. It was a lovely quiet little town with not too much going on. We chilled out, I accidentally went on a mega walk right during the midday heat and we did some snorkelling. The mask does not do me any favours I am told.
Internet is quite patchy in Indonesia. More updates to come.
Currently I have a date with the salt water pool to cool off. (The Gili Islands have no natural freshwater.)

Andrew Wet and rainy here in The Hague! Sitting back stage during an event. Your line about fastest is not necessarily the best reminded me of what Woody Allen once said - "It is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, and certainly not desirable, as one's hat keeps blowing off"
Leah Love the quote. Hope the event is going well. You would not recognise me at the mo - I have slowed my pace to super chilled!!
