Well I arrived in Cairns have jumped aboard Ocean Quest to learn how to dive on the Great Barrier Reef!

It was amazing, we learnt in the swimming pool for the first few days, then went out to liveaboard the boat (ate far too much good food)! I was ridiculously seasick the first day and couldnt even move, but soon got over that. Took loads of pics of all the sharks, fish and sea slugs we saw. Even saw a Moray eel!! Aaaaah I didn't know it could have bitten my finger off until someone told me when i surfaced, wow it was evil looking!! I'm having nightmares about it!

Went on a night dive in the pitch blackness, jumped in and was surrounded by about 20 grey reef sharks!!!! aaaaah!!!! but dont worry grey reefies are just little puppy dog sharks. Saw loads of giant trevelli and held a starfish, but then i got distracted by the pretty starfish and started following the wrong instructor. oops. oh well i still passed, so now im an Advanced Open Water Diver yeaaaa!! I am awesome!
