Even though we didn't take any pictures really in Cairns it was pretty nice. It just happened that I didn't have my camera and we really didn't do that much. Just spent a day by the lagoon, the sea is a no go so they have a really nice lagoon instead. Great weather again and got in lots more sunbathing. Other then walking around and having a look at the city and in the night markets, we just headed out on a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. That was a really good trip with a nice boat and good food!! The diving was quite similiar to what we saw snorkelling in Koh Tao, Thailand but it was still amazing as it was the Great Barrier Reef. I was secretly holding out to see a turtle and even Nemo or Dory but no such luck but we did see a couple of sting rays and giant clams, which we have dodgy pictures of from an underwater camera. Cairns was fun though, pretty big and we bumped into some more friends so we had a few nights out with them and treated ourselves to an Indian which has been the most expensive meal I have had since leaving home. But flew back to Sydney for a couple of days to say my last goodbyes before flying out to New Zealand. Definitely sad to leave Australia as I have been here for 7 months now but it will be nice to go somewhere new. So now it is just Dulcie, starting in New Zealand, Christchurch.
