So we both arrived at Byron Bay safely after the mammoth 14 hour journey. Byron Bay is so nice, the surfers are cool and the town, although swamped with backpackers this time of year, is still full of locals. We didn't really do much, just spent our time on the beach and at the swimming pool at our hostel. Hey all!! Sorry it's been ages since we have put any pictures on here. Been busy and have been waiting for lots of them to put on together. We have been doing lots of sight seeing as you can tell! Going to the beaches, the Blue Mountains (a National Park in-land from Sydney), the Chinese Friendship Gardens, the aquarium, the zoo, the harbours and lots more. Had a good time when Arran came out to stay. Got pretty drunk and had some well deserved time off work....

So we have arrived in Australia and things are going well. We have found a house - we are actually living with a friend of Dulcie's - Alison. It is only 30 minutes walk from the city but it is the gay and lesbian part of Sydney which makes it a little more interesting. We are both working, Matthew in a call centre and Dulcie in an office.
