OK, we are back in Thailand (actually Bangkok until tomorrow). We will leave for Ko Pha Ngang, an island off of the west coast of Thailand's southern peninsula, and we expect scenery such as this. Hello Everyone, we arrived safely in Bangkok, Thailand, and we are now in Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok. There are some great temple ruins in this area dating back to 12th century. In fact, the picture shown here is at a temple that we saw today - it is the remains (head only) of a buddha statue that has now been overtaken by tree roots.
