We will start our 2-day climb of Mt. Kinabalu (only 4,023 meters - should be a breeze after Kili & Nepal) on Sunday. Then we'll head to the coast to see some orangutangs, sea turtles, etc., and possibly toss in some mtn. biking or rafting before leaving Malaysia Borneo and heading to Singapore.

Hey All, After a 12-hour bus ride from Bangkok, we arrived in Cambodia (Siem Reap, the city where Angkor Wat is). The first 4 hours weren't bad on a double-decker bus thru Thailand, but once we crossed the border it changed in many ways. Hello Everyone, we arrived safely in Bangkok, Thailand, and we are now in Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok. There are some great temple ruins in this area dating back to 12th century. In fact, the picture shown here is at a temple that we saw today - it is the remains (head only) of a buddha statue that has now been overtaken by tree roots.
