Back in Levuka after Silana village. My plan was to stay a couple of days, and then travel to another small island not far from Ovalau. Well - I came down with a viral infection and had a high fever (first in my life), so I stayed until I was good as new again, so all in all I've spent quite a while in this little town. I've met some good friends, and it was a good experience to feel that I had a few "everyday life" days. I also learnt a lot about Fijian life here - everything worked out well.

Nox took me up to the highest peak in the erea, we walked for 2-3 hours up, and about the same coming down. I was not in a very good shape, and I was beginning to get ill, so I was sweating and puffing all the way up. Nox was walking as if he was taking a stroll in the street, he wasn't even warm!

The view from the top was amazing, and what you see in the pictures are Levuka town from above. Is good, eh?

I had mixed feelings upon leaving Levuka. It was a bit sad leaving Nox and my other friends not knowing if I would see them again. I was also desperate for a swim in the ocean and to continue my journey. I am so thankful for the people I met - I was made so welcome everywhere - and all the wonderful experinces I had.
