Our final day on the bikes will be a leisurely 49km. We start the day with a visit to the Sangju Bicycle Museum. We have realised that cycling is a popular pastime in Korea. The number of cyclists we see each day is amazing. Although there is no English in the museum it is nevertheless an amazing collection of bicycles and shows their evolution over time. Whilst there was quite a lot of rain overnight today is clear however there is quite a strong wind, which makes the riding just that little bit more difficult. As usual we pasx through many agricultural areas and as it is the rice sowing season there is a lot of activity in the fields. We climb over a lung busting hill to our lunch stop qnd thenlearn we have to go back over it to continue on. Not happy! We end the day at Buyongdae Cliff which provides a great view over the UNESCO village of Hahoe, which we will be visiting tomorrow. A short van ride into Andong and the cycling part of our trip is over. 5 days and 305kms. Mixed emotions. It will be good to give our bodies a rest, but also we'll miss the freedom of riding each day and seeing the countryside from a different perspective.

Sue Artlett Sounds like an amazing experience Doug. Were the bikes comfortable enough for such long days. Cycling certainly is a great way to see the countryside.
