Breakfast in the hotel then a chill out day by the pool. It’s a small hotel but very friendly. Booked car hire for when we arrive in Australia tomorrow morning and emailed the hotel to see if we could have an early check in as we land at 5am in the morning in cairns. We have decided to stay at the hotel in port Douglas where Sam worked last year.
Carl researched what to do in New Zealand and booked our flight for Sunday 27th January plus hotels in Sydney and Christchurch in New Zealand. Had a swim in the pool and lunch at the hotel. Checked out the hotel at 5.30pm it was only £403 for the 2 nights including all our food and drinks and taxi ride to and from the airport absolute Bargin and lovely food. Got a taxi to the airport took around an hour and half busy traffic stopped and started. Checked in and had dinner in Hard Rock Cafe / such big portions. Boarded out flight to cairns and took off 10.25pm. It was four and half hour flight but cairns is 2 hours ahead
