Woke at 8am had slept well. Went to breakfast, they are so friendly here. Had fruit and omelette. Our driver had already arrived he was called Arry lovely chap only young.
He drove us to the monkey forest in Ubud. There was a list warning us when we first went in not to carry in food or look the monkeys in the eye! Lots of monkeys running around saw a few of them having little tiffs!
We then went to the water temples, were given sarongs to wear. We could have bathed in the water but didn’t fancy it! Just as we were about to leave it poured with rain, Managed to hire an umbrella and get back to the car without getting too wet. Arry then took us to a restaurant over looking the lake but unfortunately it was so misty couldn’t see the views. Had a lovely Indonesian buffet meal with drinks costing the equivalent of £43 for the 5 of us ! As it was still raining got a lift back to our hotel which took just over an hour. Back at 4 and was surprised to find it hadn’t rained here! Had a little siesta.
Looked on the internet and booked the hotel in Australia decided to hire a car from the airport and stay in port Douglas where Sam used to work. Managed to face time Leigh and Jules and David and Melissa. All had winter coats on looks cold back home odd to think it’s so warm here although it poured with rain whilst we were enjoying our meal !
