The next day was still feeling a bit iffy so decided not to have a wander around the town. I just had a wee lie in, then went down and chilled on sun loungers on the beach with Holly. The weather wasn't as great as before and we had to take refuge in a cafe for about 15 minutes cos of some torrential rain but apart from that it was good! Had some lovely fruit on the beach and decided to stop being a scrounger and actually buy a book haha. Laura, Anna, Lisa and Rory joined us for a bit and then we headed back to the hotel to shower etc before dinner and the night train! I really love the spring rolls in vietam they are awesome!
The night train was definitely not as nice as the previous one, I had one of my kathy meltdown moments on the train haha: had got really bad bites all over my feet which were so painful, so sprayed deet all over myself to avoid getting bitten again... It then proceeded to melt my nail varnish and melt my flip flops to my feet! And then I managed to get it on my face by mistake and it started to burn, and got it in my eye when I was rubbing it...fail! Add in my sunburn and the appearance of a giant moth and general tiredness... That was not a good night haha. I provided some entertainment at least though! After a pretty bad sleep on the noisy train we arrived a few hours late into Hoi An!
