(3 October) Today we were leaving for Hong Kong! But not until about 5pm. Some of us got up and did a cooking class at a local restaurant. There was 6 of us and a German couple there. (1 October) We arrived into the station at Guilin the next morning and got on to a bus to Yangshuo. It is a bit further out in the country, and was pretty awesome! I was expecting a proper rural village, but it was a big enough town with loads of shops, different types of restaurants (not just Chinese!) and a few bars and things. (30September) This was a major travel day! Up and on the bus at around 8, then we headed for the three gorges dam. It was awful weather though, raining pretty heavily and misty.
