(18 october)
This was such a good day. Our train arrived in at 5.30am, a good hour early which was weird. I'd had a proper 8 hours sleep though and was feeling alright, but most people were shattered and hadn't slept well. I took the opportunity of it being still quite cool outside when we arrived to go for a run! Yes, at 6am lol. I'm missing exercise so much though, think that's why I'm getting so tired recently! So I ran along the beach for about an hour till it started to get too hot and it was actually beautiful! The sun was just coming out and the view was awesome! So many vietnamese out exercising too, loads playing badminton haha, I nearly asked to join in! I got back to the room just after 7 completely buzzing and Claire Anna and Holly were still in bed haha. Decided to go down and have a swim in the sea and Claire joined me while the others stayed in bed.
It was so much fun! Water was beautiful, and warm, and the sun wasn't too strong yet! The current wasn't too strong as well, which was nice because later on it was so strong it was a real workout going for a swim! Was loving this place already haha. At about 9 we went back and got the other two out of bed and went for breakfast - beans on toast with cheese haha, was pretty good! Then hit the beach again for the rest of the day with a quick break at 12 to check into our rooms! It was actually gorgeous! One of the best days so far (sorry sightseeing!). But by about Half 2 I could feel I was starting to roast despite the factor 50 so went back to the hotel. Was glad I did because I already needed to put on a good bit of aftersun, patchiest burn ever!
So just chilled out in the air conditioning for a bit and then started to feel a bit iffy, so had a nap before dinner! Dinner was nice but i started to feel really ill, think it was some sort of sunstroke/doxy thing, had a banging headache and felt really unwell, so just had to take loads of pills and pass out for 11 hours to get over it lol - need to be more careful with the sun I think!
