We were up just before 6 to walk into the hostel where my bus was picking me up. Tommy walked me to the bus and helped me carry my stuff which was nice because it was quite a long way and very early in the morning!

I was really tired on the bus and very antisocial haha. Just listened to music the whole way. Had a subway for lunch. Met Dippy (my 2nd driver) at the lunch stop which was cool. There were 3 people from my previous bus on the journey but they all got off at stops along the way - first time not knowing anyone on the bus in a very long time! It was kind of good though because I wasn't really in the mood for chatting! Passed an area which had a smoke machine to make clouds so that there was more rain to help the trees grow which was really random!

We arrived in around 2, and I chatted to a few people in my room who seemed nice! After dumping my stuff I just went for a wander by myself around town. It's pretty cool, loads of thermal activity so there's lots of random fenced off bits in the park with steam coming out of the ground and bubbling mud and stuff, pretty random! I found a Market in the way back which was really cool too, loads of yummy looking food!

After that I just went back to the hostel, sorted my bag out a bit and then went to the pool with a few people which was pretty nice - it's thermal heated. Then I showered and went to bed! Caught up on a few blogs and chatted to people in my room - everyone seems really nice, hopefully I'll be seeing a few of them as I go :). One girl Julia turned out to be the one I met with Jay on our night out in Queenstown! Very random, i didn't cen recognise her!
