(11 October)

Had a wee lie in, then after breakfast went for a wander down to the Market for a look. Really should have got a tuk tuk... I walked the back roads so was ok until about 3 streets away when the floodwater was EVERYWHERE, it was crazy! I still kind of persevered with walking, got my feet pretty wet but not too bad, then I got to the point where I was across the road from the Market...there was basically a 2 foot river to cross. Luckily a nice tuk tuk man drove me, literally across the road haha, for free. Definitely gave them a few laughs! The Market was nothing particularly spectacular, more of the same really. After about 2 streets just got a tuk tuk back because it was too flooded, and after a quick stop at the supermarket was back at the hotel waiting to go! Met Holly, who had missed us in Bangkok and had to follow on her own, only arriving the night before! She had managed a proper sunrise that morning though so we were jealous! She's nice, Has been travelling since July and done India etc.

We got a public bus to Pnomh Penh and drove through some crazy storms with purple lightening all over the show to arrive there around 7pm.
