(11 October) Had a wee lie in, then after breakfast went for a wander down to the Market for a look. Really should have got a tuk tuk... I walked the back roads so was ok until about 3 streets away when the floodwater was EVERYWHERE, it was crazy! (10 October) Today we did a hell of a lot of the temples of Angkor. We got up at 4 to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Bit gutted because it was so cloudy we couldn't see the sun but it was still pretty class! When we arrived it was pitch black, could only just about see the ground with our guide's torch - no-one even thought of bringing one! (9 October) Today was a major travel day. Holly still hadn't joined us by the time we left, but would catch up with us later! We got private buses to the border at Poipet, getting our visas on the way for 1200 BHT. When we got off at the border the heat was mental! Was so not prepared cos the air conditioning everywhere is so cold! Never really felt such humid heat before. Thankfully we didn't have to carry our rucksacks about, someone took them over the border...
