TRAVELLING - GUNZBURG TO FRANKFURT

We caught the Legoland bus into Gunzburg and waited on the train station for our train. While we waited several speed trains passed the station. Boy did they fly through. Pasqual decided he wanted to video the train to show just how fast they sped through. Check out the video.

We boarded our train and settled down for our three hour journey to Frankfurt. Along the way we passed some beautiful fields of yellow flowers. Angelique thought that they looked like the sun had kissed the ground.

We arrived in Frankfurt and were surrounded by hundreds of people rushing about. The train station was huge. We found the information centre and found out how to get to our hotel.

Pasqual decided to stay and look after the girls while Grandad and I travelled half way across the city to a laundry to wash all our clothes. The directions we were given weren't very accurate but a helpful pedestrian, who spoke English, pointed us in the right direction and we found it eventually.

That night we travelled into the city to find somewhere to eat. We wandered down the streets and finally found something. It was interesting to see so many people sitting on the sidewalk watching televisions mounted on the sides of buildings. They were all watching football (soccer for the heathens).
