LEGOLAND DEUTSCHLAND - DAY 2
We headed back to Legoland for our second day of fun, fun, fun. The girls set the day by choosing all their favourite rides from yesterday to go on again. They also wanted to have some play time at several of the awesome playgrounds Legoland had to offer.
The Jungle X-Petition was not working properly when we arrived to go on it so we watched in the t.v. monitors as the maintenance crew ventured into the mountain to fix it. We all cheered when the first boat made the plunge over the water fall. Pasqual and Angelique opted for the front row today (thinking they would get less wet) with Ellexis and I in the second row and Grandad behind us. As we travelled around Pasqual tried rocking the boat and when we took a small plunge he almost managed to submerge the front end of the boat. Then we headed over the waterfall at the top. We all ducked to try and avoid the water but somehow it didn't quite work for all of us. Ellexis and I stayed the driest with Pasqual and Grandad getting drenched. It was hilarious.
There were less people today so the lines were short. On the Dragon Hunt due to the small numbers we went on it two times in a row. This time we were at the tail end of the dragon and it felt like we went faster than when you are at the head of the dragon.
Pasqual and I wanted to go on the Flying Ninjas. This was the longest wait time. It started to make some squeaking and clunking sounds so they ran a test flight, deemed it was all fine and continued to allow people on. On this ride you control how you fly. You can leave the wings alone and just fly sedately around or you can alternate the wings and get into a spin. Pasqual opted for this option and spun wildly around and around. I went around twice, then decided that was enough and moved from one side to another. Very cool.
The weather today was not as nice as yesterday but the rain held off until we got back to our castle room so we were lucky.
When we got back we really wanted to go on the high rope course they offered at the resort. We paid our money and were all eager to go, when the heavens opened and that was that. Even so our time at Legoland was totally awesome.
