Saturday

Last night was really cold so it's a slow start this morning. By the time we get to the zoo all the carts have been hired so we take the car around. I did start to suggest getting bikes but Martin had replied with "no!" Before I could finish the sentence.

We stopped and looked at the rhinos, giraffes, hippos before coming to Martin's favourites, the elephants. We saw ostriches and one was caring for the eggs in her nest. The tiger appeared agitated as it was pacing and we were disappointed when we got the the lions as there was only one lioness in sight.

Over to my favourite - the Simang Apes. It was just before feeding time so we sat and watched the mum, dad and baby for a while. They reminded us of our family quite a bit!

Back to the start and it was time for lunch - a works burger again. Although it was a bit light on the works part the mince patty was delicious. Back to camp for a relaxing afternoon - I'm getting very used to these. Very cold again tonight so an early dinner and in the van to watch a few episodes of Leverage before bed.
