Today's going to be a day on buses, so we struggled to find the enthusiasm to get up. When we did though & spoke to the reception, it turned out the bus didn't go until 12:30. This was a pain, as the journey up to La Ceiba was 7.5 hours. However with little we could do, we waited in the hostel & then taxied it over to catch the bus. Sleep & '24' got us through the trip, arriving after it was dark. We met & shared a cab to check out hostels with a couple of Swiss girls (Tanja & Sara). The best one was full, the 2nd one was too pricey, so we settled on the 3rd one with the slightly smelly rooms, but where we got rooms next to each other. It was too late for food, so Rach & I shared the 'Pot Noodle' that I'd been carrying around for about a month, after which I popped out for some water. I realised it hadn't been my best plan when I saw teenagers rummaging through rubbish on the dark street corner & then a tranny of some description slowed down to wait for me while I bought some water in a hotel. I came out doing my best 'hard-man' walk with a bottle of water in each hand ready as weapons & walked past them all trying to show no fear! I was pleased to get back & thought I'd end the day there!
