Hi All,

We are currently in Sevilla in Spain. The journey from La Rochelle was a nightmare. We caught the train to Bordeaux at 11am but had to wait there until 7pm before a train that could get us over the border would arrive. We were told by a French train assistant that if we got to Irun, in Spain, we could catch a highspeed Hotel train overnight to the capital. Hoooowever when we arrived there at 10pm the Spainish assistant told us that there wasnt any running anymore and that we would have to take a standard train through the night that would get us there until 7am!!!! We went for it but decidied a bottle of red was the only way to get us through that journey, it was a sure thing that 1 bottle was not gonna satisfy so several more were needed! Needless to say we did not get much sleep. But, we did arrive in Madrid which was the main thing. The hostel was really nice, more of a large apartment and the owners really nice. Travellers themselves. We had a look around the center of Madrid which is stunning and took a boat on the lake in the park. We also sampled the Ham Museums, the Tapas Bars, and saw some great Spanish dancing. It was not long before Liam decided to bust out some grooves and show up some of the local spaniards! As we had missed a day through travelling we have decided to miss out Portugal and go direct to Sevilla for the weekend where we are staying with Jamie's friend Nat and his girlfriend Kelly! They have a nice flat 5 mins walk from the center. It was really nice having tour guides showing us the nice places to go! Somehow we managed to spend the best part of the weekend in the pub! But it was a very nice pub! While in the pub we worked out that in the two weeks of travel so far we have accomplished over 1500 miles. Well early in the morning we are heading for Valencia so gonna love ya and leave ya with thoughts of us getting a good tan in all this sun! (It did pour it down yesterday though! Good excuse for more time in the pub!)
