Hi Guys. First of all sorry about there being no photos yet, nowhere seems to have a card reader but I promise we are taking loads and there will be some on here asap. Ok, Brussels was ok and we had a really good brewery tour and the centre was stunning, but it was really nice to get out of the city and in to Bruge. Bruge was the best place so far by miles. The first night we sat in the bar at the hostel (St Christoph Bauhaus) and tried as many Belgan beers as we could find. They really know how to brew and the bar staff are experts. We made some good friends that night, including Callum and Andre from Austrailia. The next day we walked around Bruge and saw the sights, including Michalangelos Madonna With Child. Bruge is stunning. In the afternoon it seemed only right that we went on another brewery tour, The Bruge Zog, a great beer. In the evening we found a bar in a quiet part of town, this time with an American woman who was every so slightly annoying, but hey with Belgan beer you cant go wrong right! On Thursday we went on a Quasimodo tour of the Flanders WW1 battlefields. This was a really good day, interesting and moving. We saw Tyne Cot, Passchendale, the Menin Gate, Hill 60, Ypres, Essex Farm, the Yorkshire Trench, a Ypres Meuseam, as well as many more. On Friday we travelled by High Speed Train to Paris and stayed in the Hotel du Parissian. We went around the Louvre in the evening and saw some amazing things. Di Vincis Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and some great Egyptian artifacts to name but a few. On Sunday we visited the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dam, before watching Arsenal get stuffed by Man U! We have had a busy and tiring week or so, so now we have decided to take it easy for a few days. Yesterday we travelled to Tours to have some nice food and a drinky or two, and then moved on to La Rouchelle which is on the West France coast. Today we dont plan to do much, but the sun is shining and we have been told by the bar women, a Croatian girl called Tatjana, that we can rent bikes and cycle up the coast to an island we people like Jonny Depp live, where the beaches are great and a swim could be in order. We hope to find a nice bar on the sea tonight, and then tomorrow we will head off to Madrid in Spain. Hope you are all ok, promise to get some pics on soon! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
