Nuremberg. We were not sure we wanted to go on this excursion but are glad we did. The guide John Jenkins a Welsh man who had just become a German citizen the previous day, a philosopher and ethicist he has so much knowledge about Hitler and the National Socialist Party. We were taken to the Colosseum designed to show the greatness of the German Empire. The reflection in the lake was supposed to show how big and powerful the Empire was were we're very lucky as the lake was very still. See photo above. The zeppelin field stadium where they held rallies and have seen in newsreels the gathering of the troops and parades as Hitler stood and saluted. People stand there to have a photo taken posing giving the Nazi salute but it is forbidden and can get you arrested if police are around. We also went to the courtroom where the Nazi trials started in November 1945. It was an usual feeling to be in these places that are a part of world history.
