I flew from Accra to Sunyani and was met by two ATS guys.We drove about an hour to the Ahafo gold mine.The trip was colourful, lots of jungle and local villages very back in time type of feel(mud brick houses etc.

Then we arrived at the site at what I thought was a railway crossing but was for the ore trucks coming and going to the strip mine huge damn trucks.I have been settling into the camp it is quite nice and large the rooms are pleasant about hotel size fridge bathromm etc.

The dining hall serves decent food and has workout facilies and a bar which is open a few hours in the evening.I will stay here until the middle of next week and then go to another camp tp teach HVAC there.

Tomorrow I get my tags for the site.Kinda an induction day lots of presentations I will add notes soon.
