Well I made it to Ghana last week.One hell over a flight over here it took about 28 hours.JFK airport was quite a dump, surprised me Amsterdam was as good as the last I was there back in 1999,clean,smooth working very easy airport to past thur.Accra airport is a usual thrid world airport lines, chaos,told to go to another place once you wait 30 mins to get your turn.I was met a airport and taken to the staff house,just crashed after that.

Day two I was taken to the office by a brit gareth.He was amazed to find me sitting outside in the morning as he had waited at the airport for 3 hours waiting for me.The office forgot to tell him they had arranged pick-up.I found the people a ATS to be quite nice and helpful.Garthe and I went out to a small bar in Accra had a few local beers.I must admit it feels good to be back in the third world.

The next day in flew to Sunyani a 25 min flight from Accra and got settled into the Newmont glod mine work camp.I will write about that in my next entry.
