Hi dudes, Just sending another postcard to update our location information. Although the photo was taken at Lamai on Ko Samui, I thought it would be nice to stick a DJTour Photo in, proper qual!! We are in Thong Sala and have been for a few days. We are currently in Jaaz travel (use this place if you are here, very helpful and cheap, fast internet) using the internet, sorting flight dates out and deciding where we are going for the next few weeks. Its looking like we might stay on Ko Phagnan as the weather is perking up slightly after all the recent rain. Most people have headed west to Krabi and Ko Pi Pi (?) but that is quite busy, quite commercial and is getting full of rubbish, so we might give it a miss. Num at Jaaz knows somewhere cheap, clean, nice and peacefull, so we may hire a bike and go and check it out, plus the rest of the island. Weve been staying in the Thong Sala guest house for the last few days and it is luxury compared to our lovely bungalow back on bottle beach. We have a big bed, a wet room (with cold water only...), no awkward mozzie nets, just screens on the windows, and the best bit - a brand new LG TV (with cable - nothing on!), LG fridge freezer and LG air con. I wonder if the owner worked for LG? All this for 500bht a night. Thats like 7 pounds... Anyhow, Ive been at a computer for 4hrs now (not done that since work back in April!!) so its time to get down to Vantana's, an english/thai restaurant for some tucker. Keep it real dudes!!
