Day 3 - first proper summer day. Weather was just gorgeous so after a late breakfast we decided to try the Lido di Jesolo beach today. Bought some sand toys for my son plus a mini inflatable boat (6 eur) and armbands (3 eur) from the corner shop on our 2 mins walk to the beach. The beach - 100 % sandy, clean and organized, Awesome sea shore, going very very smoothly into deep water. Water clean and salty and just a little bit cold today but I took like 3-4 swimming sessions with my son. Don't need to wear swimming shoes or special swimming suit. Beach was like 60% full today give or take. Ok, now the boring part... Once you get on your "chaiselong" and open your umbrella, there is no chance to 100% relax yourself enjoying the sun and the water unless you are not ignoring the flowing masses of ambulant sellers trying to sell you at very cheap prices (their say) a little or big something. And they are not coming all together, oh no, they are coming even better than First Western trains arrivals at Paddington or airplanes arrivals at Heathrow airport - every 40 seconds or so. And it's no way of get rid of them unless you are not building a fence around your long chair. And they don't have the western notion of keeping a reasonable safe distance between you and them - they coming pretty close to you and they don't go immediately after you said a loud "NO". You need to repeat 2-3 times with very loud voice and increased pitches of tonality until they will decide to go away. But the next one then is already popping up round the corner. Even my 3 old son get bored of them eventually and he said something like: "naughty men...They try to sell things we don't want.." Possible way out? The hotels literally on the beach have private enclosed areas with their own sandy mini beaches and even playgrounds or swimming pools, all surrounded by fences and big pannels saying: private area, do not entry.
