Staying at Mataranka Homestead is the bomb. We woke up, had breakfast and had to walk a whole 50 metres to the hot springs. This place is AWESOME. We spent 4 hours swimming at the hot springs and only stopped briefly for some lunch.



After spending all morning at Mataranka we hit the road for Katherine. Today it was a short trip, only an hour and a half and we were in Katherine. And what did we do when we arrived … you guessed it … swim! The pool here is huge and heated.



Tonight we had dinner at the Country Club. On the way home we came across an Olive Python crossing the road. At first mum thought it was a king brown snake, but dad soon identified it as an Olive Python. Dad hopes we will get one as a pet at the end of the year.
