The trip by coach back to Mendoza was nice and easy. When we arrived at the bus station we were hoping there would be a shuttle bus to the airport, unfortunately not, so we had to take a taxi. We had quite a wait until our flight early in the evening which was a bit boring as the airport only had two cafes and a couple of shops, quite a small airport really. However the flight to Santiago only took an hour and before we new it we were landing. We would have liked to flown earlier in the day as the scenery over the Andes would have been spectacular. Luckily we decided to fly rather than take the bus as the pass across to Chile has been closed for the last three days due to snow , something we were warned may happen at this time of year. Tomorrow (Sunday) we fly to Peru.
