So its been a while and I figured I would post an update. The semester is coming quickly to a close. This is the last week of classes. I have been doing alot in and around the city lately. Hitting up all the attractions including footy games, horse track, surfing, touring some of the parks, and generally exploring the city. Just an update on the past few weeks: Things are going well. After a pretty crazy few weeks, everything has slowed down and Ive gotten into a rhythm. The past few weeks have been filled with field trips for my classes. Ok, just wanted to post an update. Absoloutely the busiest and most exciting week ive had here so far. 3/14 Friday: went with a few friends to go surfing for the day at Torquay. It is the closest place to go surfing from Melbourne, since you have to leave the bay area. It takes about an hour and a half on a train and bus to get there from downtown. O-Week Each semester O-Week (orientation) comes around for Uni students. Each college, village, and the university itself hosts different o-week events. University events include faculty meetings, class schedule appointments, campus tours, and student sports and society club fairs. RMIT put on its own o-week for us.
