Well what an interesting day yesterday turned out to be???

Plan - Relax all day, go get peds around 4pm n then explore the south eastern side of the island 2day and 2mrw.

Action - It started chucking it down (a bit like u were running a bath id say) at about 4pm, great, cant go get the bikes. We'll just sit and wait it out right? Wrong! 2.5 hours later its still chucking it down. We managed to make it across the road to get sum food but ended up eating under my umberella under the restaurant cover!! Whilst eating there was a god almighty bang crash etc come from our hotel direction? Turns out a tree had fallen under the weight of the rain and the wind and crashed through the roof of a room across the way from it (yes the people were in there, but no they werent hurt). Naturally within seconds there were about 8 men making grunting sounds with axes and saws :) and all the girls were watching from under the almost cover of the building :) Considering this was a pretty MASSIVE tree the guys did really well and managed to get it moved just b4 it got totally dark Coop of course came of of it worse off then anyone, a whole huge piece of tree trunk fell ontop of his foot, so he had it cleaned and bandaged by the ladies, naturally :)

This all worked out really well in our favor as the girls who look after the resort bought everyone dinner to say thankyou :) SCORE free food! Extra drinkng money! We all headed out to the beach bar around 10pm .... i had a head ache, 200B, didnt think i would drink much n would probebly go home early...WRONG!

Beach party + drunk londoners buying free drinks + Claire kat coop (and about 6 other people we got talking to) = DRUNK DRUNK DRUNK :os got home at 5am was a little bit sick (coop was very sick, and disgusted at him self for being such a lightweight, he hadnt had much to drink) and woke up feeling ROUGH!!!!!

Today i got up at 12pm went n got food then went straight back to bed! didnt get up till 5pm had some vitamins and am only just feeling slightly human again great night thought :)

Moving onto Koh Samui tomorrow (kat n coop have gone off to source the bus tickets) hopefully its sunny over that side of thailand my tans good but it could be a lot better :oD
