Got up early today and headed straight to Koh Jum, was only 190B to get here and its very rural, got a local boat over, full of villagers shopping - bags of rice, veg, beers, supplies for the small shops on the islands etc.
We headed straight for Bodang resort (where Emille had suggested) The island has only dirt tracks as roads, the resort is set just off the beach, lots of small bungalows, very rustic :oD We only have electricity for 3 hours a night which is supplied by a generator and was turned off at 10pm every evening. Head torches at the ready ladies! Bodange is only a 20min walk from the main town, i took a walk the first evening and picked up a few supplies and never went back... it was nice but we have everything we need at Bodang. Most of the guest are danish or german or sumthing everyone are pure hippies its lush!
Theres quite a nice resort next door which we ate in one evening, they offer fishing trip (very cheap) so on the 18th at about 4.30 pm we headed out, empty water bottle.... check.... fishing line... check... lets catch sum fish :oD haha! was really good fun, if not a bit frustrating at times! We ended up catching 12-13 fish and headed back to shore about 6pm. That evening we went back over to the nice resort and they cooked our catch for us, its the nicest fish we've had since i've been away, even if i do say so myself ;oD
Heading out to Phuket in the morning, cant say im that excited i'd rather stay here a few more days, its so chilled out and there sum really interesting people here but suppose need to go see what 'blackpool in the sun has to offer' :o(
