We travelled from Khao Sok to Khao Lak today as we planned to do a tour of the Similan Islands. Once we arrived we soon realised that it was all a bit too expensive and after a lot of looking around for rooms and cheap tour we decided that me n kat would not do a day trip, swimming, snorkelling etc as it was VERY expensive (for our budgets anyway). The new plan is to stay for one day coop do a trip me n kat chill n eat etc. and then all three of us head up to Bangkok on the night bus tomorrow evening. Only problem being that coops tour gets him back at 5pm n the night bus leaves at 5pm....fingers crossed he gets back in time!

Last night we had the nicest food, i've discovered Penange Curry (Anacide flavour and soupy like most thai currys and generally quite lush) and the guys really enjoyed theirs to. Me and Kat pretty much did nothing but eat and internet all day today. We have been looking after all the bags as coops been off out all day, two of us trying to get three huge rucksacks across the road im sure was quite funny for the locals to sit and watch. We ended up not being able to get on the 5pm bus from where we were staying but booked onto one for 6pm in another area, as long as coop was back on tme then could get us to the bus..... only problem was coop didnt have his phone and had no idea what was going on :oD he was hurried off the boat and away from the rest of the tour group bundled into a private car and rushed to us, who had been sitting in the mini bus waiting/panicking for about 15 minutes.... anyway we got to the bus stop on time coop even had time to change :oD
