Koh Tao. The ferry here was bad. I watched more than 5 people puke. It was sick. So we got to our hostel, and got to our dorm and thought okay okay, this place is okay. Then the next day we went and explored, and I absolutely loved it. Koh Tao is where people come from around the world to get different diving certifications. We were absolutely not there long enough to do any of that, but it seemed pretty cool! The beach we hung out on was AMAZING! The water was really shallow, and the clearest water I have seen yet. In my life. There is a huge effort in Koh Tao to keep the beach and the water clean, and that is extremely evident. Koh Tao is finally a bigger island, but in the part we stayed in (and where most people do), the streets aren't big enough for cars. Koh Tao was a mix between Railay and Koh Phi Phi. It absolutely had the relaxing, incredibly beachy feel of Railay, but there were still bars and pubs and fire shows. It was an incredible place. Lots of really cool people, from lots of cool places doing lots of cool things. I think the only thing I can say we officially did, other than lay on the beach and eat, is that we went on a pub crawl. Which was awesome fun. And we got a free clean shirt out of it. The night after, the people in my dorm were all explaining how this shirt is now the cleanest one any of us has, but didn't want to be that person who wore it the next day! Koh Tao was awesome though, probably my favourite island. Then we travelled to Koh Samui, which is basically a big expensive city. From here, we start our journey back home! This trip has been absolutely incredible. It was filled with beautiful views, spirituality, awesome travellers, inspirational locals, so much knowledge, so much laughter and so much heart. Shrek is love. Shrek is life. See you next time SE Asia. You were very good to me. Xx
