Siem Reap was nothing like phnom pen. It was a beautiful clean city, filled with incredible people. The city itself was pretty touristy and there were sections of these crazy stunning hotels that people stayed in to see Angkor Wat. So Angkor Wat was just as beautiful as you would imagine it. Cambodia So as we took a 13 hour bus ride to phnom phen I was thinking about all the things people were warning us about. There are a lot of people who beg in the city, and crime rates are high.
