I wake up early and go for a photo taking stroll at 19:00. Meet the girls at the casa at 9:00 for breakfast - after which last minute painting shopping for us all. We meet at the casa at 11:00 and after our goodbyes to the casa family we're off on the last stretch of our road trip. The road back to Havana. We start with a lazy breakfast at 10:00 and then off to Playa Ancon for a day at the beach. A beautiful long beach and wonderful weather is a perfect 'recovery' day. A nice stroll on the beach... First on the agenda is a visit to the Giron Museum. Interesting portrayal of the history of the area post Revolution up to the Bay of Pigs invasion. Interesting to see the potrayal of how things improved for the people of the area post the revolution. Pre revolution work consisted of poor working and living conditions and hard manual labour.
