We have spent a full day of museum exploring in Longreach in Central Western Queensland. Not much green grass out this way and just over 30 degrees today.

We started the morning with a visit from a couple of Brolga’s and then on to the Stockman’s Hall of Fame. A little disappointing. Overpriced at $170 for a family for what it contained.

For the afternoon, we headed to the Qantas museum. Similarly priced but much more interesting with interactive displays and tours of actual jets. We stayed till closing with the boys having just one more turn on the WW1 flight simulator.

On to Winton next to learn about dinosaurs.
